Robin's Volcano Adventure

Random Musings and Humorous Moments

Our Teeny Visitor

As mentioned, our little visitor has been greeted with a variety of reactions.

I would expect that most people would have gotten A & D correct.

Answers are:
A. Concern and a desire to feed and nurture.
This is me. No surprise there, I imagine.

B. Irritation, violence, followed by total indifference.
Oscar, our cat. At first he slapped the kitty around a bit. Now he just checks him out a few times a day and then ignores him. Good reaction for Teeny. Rejection by Oscar would have been a deal breaker.

C. Horror. Fear. Must protect family from alien invader.
Bandit, star of the A Walk to the Post Office series. Cats are a conundrum for Bandit. He has an urge to chase, but on the other hand Oscar is untouchable and a very scary figure for our confused little dog. Teeny's little meewing drive Bandit to drink. He might need a doggy shrink to recover.

D. Sigh.... Mumble, mumble. Sigh...
Mark. Not really a fan of cats, but kind-hearted enough to hate seeing a hungry soul. He has drawn the line at letting Teeny in the house. He's okay with feeding it and letting Teeny hang out in our garden.

If I can get Teeny tame enough to handle I might have some leads on a new home for him/her.
In the mean time we have a dynamic little black garden statue. Isn't he cute? :)
